Wedding Date Booking Policy
To ensure fairness and availability for all couples, The Modest Wedding uses a first-paid, first-booked system. Once a couple expresses interest in a date, we will temporarily hold that date for up to 30 minutes while full payment is submitted. If payment is not received within 30 minutes, the date may be released and made available to another couple. We appreciate your understanding as we work to accommodate everyone fairly.
Wedding Date Booking Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that life happens, and we’ve designed our cancellation and rescheduling policy to be as clear and fair as possible.
Refund Schedule
• 60 or more days before your event: You’ll receive a full refund.
• 30 to 59 days before your event: You’ll receive a 50% refund.
• Less than 30 days before your event: Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued at this point, as preparations will already be underway.
Non-Refundable Bookings
All bookings made within 30 days of the event date are considered final and non-refundable.
Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling follows the same timeline as refunds:
• 60+ days out: You may reschedule with no penalty.
• 30–59 days out: You may reschedule once, with a 50% credit applied.
• Less than 30 days out: Rescheduling is not available.
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to support@themodestwedding.com.
Finalizing Your Details
To make your day flow seamlessly, all selections and changes inside the Wedding Composer must be completed at least 7 days before your event. After that, your event details are considered locked in so our team can prepare everything just right. Don’t worry — we’ll send reminders along the way!
Outside Catering Policy
We provide a styled grazing table featuring charcuterie, cured meats, artisanal cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, and a selection of dipping sauces, honey, nuts and sweets with every Modest Wedding, but if you crave something different, here's how we can work together.
The Modest Wedding allows clients to bring their own food to accommodate cultural or personal preferences. However, strict guidelines apply to ensure the venue remains clean, safe, and operational for all clients. There is no discount or price adjustment for Modest Weddings if outside food is provided by the client.
